NBA:
The Trail Blazers hung around with the Timberwolves last night but their shooting went cold in the 4th quarter, after mounting a double-digit deficit comeback in the 3rd quarter.
The 124 – 121 final sends Portland to 28 – 31, slipping into 10th place behind the Clippers.
Also yesterday, the team announced guard Shaedon Sharpe will miss 4 to 6 weeks with a fibula fracture. He’s sat the last 7 games with a calf injury.
The Blazers go to Chicago tomorrow.
College Baseball:
Oregon State pitcher Dax Whitney picked up three more honors this week. The right-hander was named the National Pitcher of the Week by both Perfect Game and the College Baseball Foundation, and was also selected as Co-Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers. Whitney tied the Oregon State single-game record with 17 strikeouts in the Beavers' 3-1 win over Baylor on Friday.
MLB:
Spring Training Cactus League-
The Mariners lost to the White Sox yesterday but catcher Cal Raleigh blasted a home run.
Seattle plays Kansas City today.
San Francisco beat the Angels. The Giants play the Brewers today.
Both games start at 12:10.
College Basketball:
The Oregon Men play Wisconsin tonight. KBND coverage starts at 7:30. Tip off at 8.
The U of O Women are at Purdue starting at 4.
The Oregon State Men have San Diego at Gill Coliseum at 7.

On the Boys side 5A - Crook County is 2nd, Summit is up to 4th after beating Crook County last week. Madras is 3rd in 4A, Trinity Lutheran is 2nd in class 2A.
