College Basketball:
The Oregon Men are 17th in the 18 team Big 10 with two regular season games remaining, beginning with a trip to number 11 ranked Illinois today. Coverage starts at 5:30 on KBND. Tip-off at 6.
The U of O Women are the 11th seed in this week’s Big 10 conference tournament playing 14 seed Purdue tomorrow
Oregon State head into their final West Coast Conference tournament this week as the number 4 seed.
The OSU Women are a number 4 seed in the WCC tournament.
Both men’s and women’s tourney’s start Thursday.
NBA:
Portland is 29 – 33, 10th place in the Western Conference with a couple of days off after Sunday’s loss in Atlanta. The Trail Blazers are staying in the Southeast with a visit to Memphis tomorrow.
Yesterday the team made a move to sign rookie guard Chris Youngblood to a two-way contract. The team released Javonte Cook.
College Baseball:
The latest Top 25 polls are out.
Coaches poll has OSU 18 and UO 23, D1baseballdot com has OSU 18, Baseball American has OSU 25, in the Perfect Game rankings OSU 21, UO 10, and the Writers’ poll has OSU 22 and UO 24.
The Ducks host the Beavers at PK Park today at 3.
SOFTBALL:
Oregon is ranked 14th in the Softball America poll
Oregon State slugger Jaeya Butler has won her second-consecutive West Coast Conference Player of the Week award.
The junior went 7-17, a .412 average with three doubles, three home runs, eight RBI and four runs scored over last weekend.
College Football:
Oregon Tight End Kenyon Saadiq and Defensive Back Dillon Thieneman both likely improved their draft status as both Ducks’ had stand-out NFL Combine workouts.
MLB:
