Civil War in Eugene, The number 18 Beavers got by 23rd ranked Oregon at PK Park yesterday 10 – 6.
College Basketball:
The U of O Women are the 11th seed in the Big 10 conference tournament playing 14 seed Purdue today at 5:30. Yesterday, Ducks sophomore guard Katie Fiso was voted to the all-Big Ten second team.
Oregon State’s Josiah Lake II and Isaiah Sy both earned All-Conference honors for the West Coast Conference. Lake was named to the first team, while Sy was an honorable mention.
The OSU Women’s team has three all conference players. Kennedie Shuler became the fourth Oregon State women's basketball player to earn conference Defensive Player of the Year honors, and she was joined by two teammates on the All-WCC team.
Shuler is a first team selection for the first time in her career. Jenna Villa (1st Team) and Tiara Bolden (2nd Team) also earned all-league honors for the first time.
Both the Beavers men’s and women’s teams are number 4 seeds in the WCC tourney starting Sunday.
NBA:
Portland is 29 – 33, 10th place in the Western Conference with a matchup against Memphis today. Both Deni Avdija and Kris Murray have been upgraded to questionable for the game. Blazers at Grizzlies tips off at 5.
SOFTBALL:
Civil War Softball: Number 18 ranked Oregon is in Corvallis for the first Oregon State home game of the season today. Ducks at Beavers from Kelly Field starts 6 p.m.
College Football:
Reports say the Pac 12 is still interested in trying to lure UNLV to the conference.
MLB:
Spring Training Cactus League-
Seattle lost to the Angels yesterday. The Mariners take on San Francisco today.
