NBA:
Portland hung around but couldn’t keep up with the 76ers last night. The Trail Blazers fell to 32 – 36 after the 109 – 103 loss for the first game of their weeklong road trip.
The Blazers are in Brooklyn today with a 4:30 tip-off against the Nets.
College Baseball:
18th ranked Oregon State swept San Diego in their three game series behind dominant pitching performances.
Number 15 Oregon got a walk-off win yesterday to get a sweep of Indiana.
SOFTBALL:
19th Ranked Oregon also got a walk-off win yesterday for a sweep against Penn State.
Oregon State avoided a sweep from Weber State when they salvaged the series with a win Saturday.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL:
The University of Oregon got in their first few days of spring practice.
New Ducks offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer spoke to the media after practice Saturday.
The first-time OC says he will be relying on his staff and head coach Dan Lanning.
New defensive coordinator Chris Hampton spoke to the media Saturday on how the Ducks defense can improve to become one of the elite defenses in the country.

And we read a lot about Oregon State head football coach Jamarcus Shephard and the energy the new coach brings. OSU social media released a clip over the weekend of coach Shephard firing up his players during practice last week.
Both Ducks and Beavers will be off practice this week for finals, then start up again after Spring Break.

The Oregon Women are number 8 seed playing Friday in the NCAA tournament.
The OSU Women have a game at Gill Coliseum on Thursday in the first round of the WBIT.
New Oregon State head men’s coach Justin Joyner will be introduced in a press conference in Corvallis today.

5A Boys Semifinals - Crook County lost in overtime in the Saturday’s final, taking the 2nd place trophy to Prineville. Summit won the 3rd place game.
Madras takes 3rd place in 4A.
