NBA:
The Trail Blazers 114 - 110 win in Phoenix sends them to the 7th seed and a matchup against the San Antonio Spurs Sunday.
Portland started off hot and built a lead, let that slip away near the end of the 3rd quarter, then fell behind to start the 4th.
But the team battled back, getting defensive stops when they counted.
Deni Avdija once again came up huge, scoring 41 points in last night’s play-in game to lead all scorers.
The veterans with major playoff experience, Jrue Holiday and Jerami Grant, also reached double figures in scoring.
Grant returned to the line-up after being injured for much of the end of the regular season.
It’s the first time in four years Rip City goes to the playoffs.
COLLEGE BASEBALL:

OSU freshman pitcher Tyler Bellerose was involved in a car accident Monday that resulted in a serious medical condition according to the Beavers Baseball social media.
