COLLEGE BASEBALL:
10TH ranked Oregon State got a road sweep at Long Beach State slugging and pitching their way to three commanding wins.
The Beavs are back in Corvallis against Portland tomorrow (Tu).
Number 13 Oregon gave all unanimous number 1 UCLA wanted but came up short in yesterday’s series rubber-match giving up a five-run lead in yesterday’s game three.
The Ducks four straight series winning streak snaps but are still a respectable 18 – 9 in the Big 10.
The U of O is back at PK Park this week for the regular season conference finale with another top 25 matchup against 18th ranked USC.
SOFTBALL:
Oregon State won two of three in Southern California to take down Loyola Marymount in the final series of the season, concluding the Beavers time in the West Coast Conference, going back to the Pac 12 next season.

The Selco Pole Pedal Paddle is Saturday.

It’s a benefit for the Mt Bachelor Sports Education Foundation.
PPP Race Director Marieka Greene says plenty of course volunteers are needed, especially with replacing the opening skiing legs at Mt Bachelor.
“So, the first one will have some elevation gain. We're calling it the mountain run. It'll be a little bit harder, about 2.8 miles, and then the next one we're calling the fun run. It's, it's relatively flat. It's going to be 1.2 miles.

DUCK FOOTBALL:
The Big Ten announced its Friday night schedule for the fall. Oregon will face off with Portland State on September 18 and its lone Friday conference game will take place on November 20 at Michigan State.
MLS Round Up:
The MLS season continued over the weekend. The Timbers crushed Sporting Kansas City 6-0 at home. Kevin Kelsy scored a pair of goals to lead Portland, while Kristoffer Velde, Cole Bassett and Ariel Lassiter added one each. The Sounders played San Diego FC to a 1-1 tie. Danny Musovski scored the tying goal for Seattle in the 80th minute.
