(Renton, WA)  --  Defensive end Michael Bennett will remain a Seattle Seahawk.  The team has announced that Bennett has signed a multi-year deal, preventing the veteran from becoming an unrestricted free agent.  ESPN reports the four-year contract is worth 28-point-five-million dollars, with 16-million guaranteed.  Bennett reportedly was offered more money by two other teams, but opted to stay in Seattle.
