WNBA:
In WNBA action, the Fire host Toronto tonight. Portland has lost five straight to fall to 11-and-19. Later this weekend, Portland will host the Seattle Storm on Saturday. Seattle is 6-and-27 on the season after losing to the New York Liberty 96-82 last night for their 10th straight setback.
LOCAL:
The annual Haulin’ Aspen full all-trail marathon, a half marathon, a 6.5-mile and a full marathon relay is Saturday. The race starts and finishes at Wanoga Sno Park with the course through the Forest trails.
The Bend All-stars 12U Little League team has a Go Fund Me for family travel expenses to Southern California for the Northwest Regionals! If they win that tournament, they'll be on their way to the Little League World Series! Now, as they prepare for their opening game against Washington on August 8th at 6PM PT on ESPN+, their parents are asking for help cheering them on in person.
