COLLEGE FOOTBALL:
Oregon State 5th year seniors Jaheim Patterson and Van Wells will be able to play in at least four more games this season after a Benton County Circuit Court Judge granted an injunction against the NCAA rule on age eligibility.
Offensive coordinator Mitch Dahlen said during his media availability this week Van Wells the offense will face another test in Texas.
“You put on the Michigan tape, I mean they're, they're beating Michigan. I mean it's 14 to 7 and was 17-14 or whatever right before half and like they, they play really, really hard and their defense is like I, I told our guys yesterday I was like you can't deny what they're putting on tape like they play hard. Like it's like you can't, you can say what you want about who they played this, that, the other, but they play hard”

Defensive Lineman Matayo Uiagalelei spoke about players taking a bigger role as leader following the slow start to the season.
“Holding other guys accountable and challenging like the defense or challenging other guys on offense to be leaders too. And, and I think that's, that's really been an improvement and, and it's shown, just everywhere with our, our focus and our intent, and practice.”

In WNBA action, the Fire closed out their season with a 90-82 overtime win over the Golden State Valkyries. Portland ends the year at 17-and-27. Meanwhile, the Storm host the Dallas Wings tonight in their finale. Seattle has already lost a league-record 35 games this season.
