(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle Seahawks will begin defending their Super Bowl title when they host the Green Bay Packers on September 4th.  The Thursday night game, to be televised on NBC, will be the official kickoff of the 2014 season.  The Seahawks are scheduled to play four primetime games in all during the regular season.  They include a Thanksgiving night contest with the San Francisco 49ers at the new Levi's Stadium.
