(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland-based coffee company is closing its doors after more than a century in the business.  A spokesperson with Boyd Coffee Company says the company is shutting down after being sold to Farmer Bros. Coffee Company in Texas last year.  The spokesperson says Farmer Bros. hired on about ten-percent of the 230 people employed by Boyd Coffee.  The rest of the employees are now facing layoffs.
