Workers Keeping Cool In Portland Heat

(Portland, OR)  --  Construction workers around Portland are taking extra precautions when dealing with the extreme summer heat.  Yesterday's temperatures of more than 90-degrees are considered are unusually high in Portland.  Workers say they're drinking more water, are taking frequent breaks and are trying to keep shaded.  Patrols along the Willamette River are warning folks not to jump in to cool down as water levels are high and currents are very strong.
