Roper Denied Parole

A group of 30 convicted killers will received early parole hearings due to an Oregon Supreme Court ruling adjusting their sentences.  The Supreme Court recently ruling Roper and other killers sentenced in the 80's and 90's have an opportunity for parole after 20 years, instead of 30. In Roper's case, the parole board sent him back to prison, impressed with his progress, they set another hearing in two years.
