(Portland, OR)  --  A man is dead after his motorcycle crashed into a utility pole in Northeast Portland.  Police say the 54-year-old man was riding along Northeast Cornfoot Road near Alderwood Road around five o'clock yesterday afternoon when the motorcycle left the roadway and slammed into the pole.  The man's name hasn't been released.
