Carlton Complex Wildfire Now 52-Percent Contained

(Okanogan County, WA)  --  The Carlton Complex wildfire in Okanogan County, Washington is reported to be more than halfway contained.  Officials say a round of showers that swept through the area yesterday gave firefighters a break in their efforts to contain the huge fire.  Authorities say yesterday's rain won't snuff out the fire but has allowed crews to strengthen fire lines.  The fire is now 52-percent contained, but has burned about 400 square miles.
