(Portland, OR)  --  Police are investigating after one person was killed and another was critically injured in a stabbing in Northeast Portland.  Authorities say a man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries last night after he ran from a home on Northeast 96th Avenue to a nearby Econolodge to seek help.  Police went to the home and engaged a suspect, who eventually surrendered after SERT personnel arrived.  The dead victim was found inside the home.  No names have been released.
