(Olympia, WA) -- Washington state officials say sales added up to about three-point-six-million dollars during the initial month of the state's legal marijuana market. The state will receive 899-thousand dollars, or 25 percent, in taxes. That's along with the usual sales taxes and business taxes. Inventory has been limited, as many of the roughly 150 marijuana producers who have been issued state licenses haven't had enough time to get their crops harvested, processed, and ready for market.
