(Astoria, OR)  --  A Washington woman who's accused of murdering her two-year-old and attempting to murder her 13-year-old remains behind bars without bail.  Jessica Smith has pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder.  Court documents show Smith confessed to drowning the toddler at a Cannon Beach hotel and helping her teen daughter cut her own throat and wrists to prevent them from having to live with their father.  A status hearing for Smith is scheduled for September 30th.
