(Beaverton, OR)  --  The permitting process for Nike's planned expansion of its world headquarters will be streamlined, following a vote by the Beaverton City Council.  "The Oregonian" reports the City Council has reached an agreement with Washington County that will give permitting and planning authority solely to the county.  Beaverton city officials say the 150-million-dollar Nike World Headquarters expansion will add at least 500 jobs.  Nike currently employs about eight-thousand people in Washington County.
