(Stamford, CT) -- The company that operates food services for Providence Park, Safeco Field, and thousands of other venues, has a new CEO. Chief executive Desmond Hague has resigned from his position after becoming embroiled in a scandal involving mistreatment of a dog. Food-services company Centerplate recently put Hague on probation after he admitted to being the man seen in an elevator surveillance video, kicking and yanking the leash of a Doberman Pinscher puppy he was walking. Centerplate officials say the company does not condone the abuse of animals. Chris Verros is now acting president and CEO.
