(Olympia, WA)  --  Washington state officials will ask lawmakers to outlaw smoking marijuana in vehicles.  Currently, there's no specific language that makes it illegal to smoke pot in a car.  The Washington Traffic Safety Commission wants the Legislature to address that in the next regular session in January.  Commission Director Darrin Grondel tells "The Olympian" that the law would prohibit both drivers and passengers from smoking or having open packages of marijuana inside a vehicle.
