Multnomah DA: No More Prosecution Of Minor Pot Cases

(Portland, OR)  --  The Multnomah County District Attorney's Office says it will no longer prosecute marijuana cases whose offenses will be considered legal as of July 1st of next year.  Oregonians voted last week to legalize the recreational use of marijuana for adults 21 and older.  The D.A.'s Office says it will drop charges related to conduct that will be legal in July 2015, because a majority of Multnomah County voters support the legalization of marijuana in certain amounts.
