Portland Man Faces Sex-crimes Charges

(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland man is under indictment after being accused of sex crimes involving a minor.  The indictment was handed up against Terrence Patrick Bean, a Portland real-estate developer who helped found a national gay-rights organization.  Bean's attorney, Kristen Winemiller, claims that Bean was a target of an extortion ring "led by several men known to law enforcement."  The Portland police sex crimes unit is leading the investigation.
