(Beaverton, OR)  --  A memorial service will be held Sunday for former longtime Beaverton City Councilmember Cathy Stanton.  Stanton died last Sunday at the age of 65 of complications caused by a stroke.  She served on the Council for 19 years before stepping down in 2012, and was a volunteer for the Beaverton City Library.  The memorial service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Beaverton Christian Church on Southwest Allen Boulevard.
