Recount Likely For GMO-labeling Measure

(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon's Measure 92 is likely headed for a recount.  The final vote tally shows the GMO-labeling measure failed by 809 votes, which means it will be subject to an automatic recount.  Secretary of State Kate Brown says she'll make an official determination next week on whether a recount will be required.  Under Measure 92, prominent labeling would be required for food containing genetically-modified ingredients.
