More Details About Police-involved Shooting In Beaverton

(Beaverton, OR)  --  The Beaverton Police Department says eight rounds were fired from AR-15 rifles by officers in last week's shooting that killed 29-year-old Chelsea Fresh.  Officials say the officers opened fire last Thursday after Fresh came out of her home and pointed a .22 rifle at them.  The police department reported yesterday that the rifle wasn't loaded.  The department says officers were dispatched to the home on Southwest Conestoga Drive after Fresh's boyfriend reported she was suicidal and had knives and rifles in the house.
