Members of northwest tribes tell the Oregon Board of Education it's time to outlaw the use of stereotypical images of Native Americans as mascots of public schools. The Board is accepting public testimony on the proposal that would requires schools with Indians, braves, chiefs and chieftans as mascots to make changes by July 2017.
