(Jefferson, OR)  --  Marion County authorities have a man in custody after his father died in a fire in the community of Jefferson.  Thirty-six-year-old John Duran is facing charges of second-degree manslaughter, reckless burning, and recklessly endangering another, in the death of 81-year-old Candido Duran.  The fire was reported around three a.m. yesterday at a duplex on Jefferson Highway 99E.  Authorities say John Duran escaped the fire, as did three other people in the adjacent apartment.
