(Cornelius, OR)  --  One person is dead, following a head-on collision near Cornelius.  Authorities say 22-year-old Maria Martinez of Hillsboro died in the wreck, which happened around 10:30 yesterday morning in the area of Southwest Susbauer Road and Southwest Long Road.  Police say Adam Buchalski [[ buh-SHALL-skee ]] of Cornelius was driving north in the southbound lane as he tried to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone.  Buchalski and his passenger suffered injuries that aren't considered life-threatening.
