(Corvallis, OR)  --  A pedestrian is dead, following a crash on Oregon 99W in Corvallis.  Police say a vehicle hit the pedestrian around 5:30 yesterday evening and landed upside down in an embankment.  The driver cooperated with the investigation, and the occupants of the car sustained minor injuries.  No names have been released.
