(Salem, OR)  --  Kate Brown is now the governor of Oregon, following the resignation of John Kitzhaber.  The former secretary of state took the oath of office yesterday during a ceremony on the floor of the state House of Representatives.  Brown said she's ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work on the tasks that lie ahead.  She said her first order of business is to "regain the confidence of the people."
