Democrats To Move Clean-fuels Bill Forward

(Salem, OR)  --  House Democrats say they'll move forward with debate on a Senate-passed bill to extend Oregon's clean-fuels program.  Republican opponents have argued that the measure should be tabled until federal investigators determine whether former Governor John Kitzhaber and his fiancee, Cylvia Hayes, were paid by outside groups to push the extension.  House Speaker Tina Kotek says the bill will move to the House floor as planned.  "The Oregonian" reports the bill could be sent to Governor Kate Brown as early as next week.
