(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland veterinarian who was imprisoned in East Timor for months is on her way back to the U.S.  Doctor Stacey Addison was taking a cab in September from Indonesia to East Timor when she was arrested while riding with a passenger who had drugs.  She was imprisoned until being released on Christmas, then was stranded in East Timor because her passport was confiscated.  Oregon senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley lobbied on Addison's behalf, and former East Timor President Jose Ramos-Horta negotiated for her release.
