(Salem, OR)  --  A close ally of former Governor John Kitzhaber is out of a job.  Oregon chief administrative officer Michael Jordan submitted his resignation yesterday to Governor Kate Brown, less than two weeks after his old boss stepped down.  Jordan has been considered a key figure in the influence-peddling scandal involving Kitzhaber and his fiancee, Cylvia Hayes.  The state's chief financial officer, George Naughton, has been appointed as Jordan's interim replacement.
