(Portland, OR)  --  Portland Mayor Charlie Hales will try to win another term in office.  Hales told the "Portland Tribune" the city is headed into an unprecedented period of change, and he believes he's the right person for the job.  The mayor says he's made progress in repairing relations between the Police Bureau and the community and reducing the government's waste of taxpayer dollars.  Hales says he's raised about 35-thousand dollars for his campaign over the past two months.
