Portland Educator Wins Million-dollar Powerball Prize

(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland man is a million dollars richer, before taxes.  Bill Delmatoff, who's a special education para-educator at da Vinci Arts Middle School, says he's usually a Mega Millions player but decided to buy a Powerball ticket on a whim.  Delmatoff's ticket matched the first five numbers pulled in Saturday's drawing, good for a prize of one-million dollars.  Lottery officials say Delmatoff plans to donate some of his winnings to charities that assist parents with foster children.
