(Portland, OR)  --  Authorities say a burglary suspect was shot and killed after he threatened to stab a police officer.  Portland police say when officers arrived at a home on Southeast Sherman Street around 5:30 yesterday evening, the homeowner had the suspect restrained.  Officials say the suspect broke free and came close to stabbing an officer, at which time he was shot twice by one of the officers.  The suspect's name hasn't been released.
