Keizer Teen Pleads Guilty To Shooting Parents

(Salem, OR)  --  A Keizer teenager is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to shooting his mother to death and wounding his father.  Eighteen-year-old Brett Pearson entered guilty pleas yesterday to charges of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, and conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.  Michelle Pearson died in the March 2014 shooting, and Bill Pearson was seriously wounded but survived.  Brett Pearson is scheduled to be sentenced in August, and a second suspect in the case, Robert Miller, is slated to go on trial later this year.
