(Vancouver, WA)  --  Vancouver-area teachers, like thousands of other teachers across Washington, are calling on the Legislature to fully fund public education.  Teachers from the Evergreen, Camas, Washougal, and Hockinson school districts held a rally yesterday morning at Esther Short Park, to urge lawmakers to follow through on a state Supreme Court mandate that public schools be fully funded.  The Washington Legislature is currently in a special session, one of the goals of which is to pass an education-funding package.
