Police Still Investigating Deadly Crash In Portland

(Portland, OR)  --  Portland police say alcohol and excessive speed are believed to have been factors in a crash the killed one person and injured two others.  The car tumbled down a 150-foot embankment and burst into flames during the wreck earlier this week on Northwest Royal Boulevard and Meridian Ridge Drive.  Police say 29-year-old Jack Davis was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.  The driver, 39-year-old Jacob Farrar, is listed in critical condition, and a passenger, Kathryn McEachern [[ muh-KAK-ern ]] was treated at a hospital and released.
