PCC Board Votmes Remove President

(Portland, OR)  --  Portland Community College and its president are parting ways.  The college board voted yesterday to approve a separation-in-service agreement that removes Jeremy Brown from his position as president.  A PCC board spokesperson says the decision for Brown to depart was mutual.  The "Portland Tribune" reports the board voted to approve ending Brown's tenure after it was learned in late April that he was a candidate for the chancellor's job at Arkansas State University.
