(Vancouver, WA)  --  The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office says the death of fired Portland Police officer Dane Reister was a suicide.  Reister was found dead Monday beside BNSF railroad tracks in Washougal [[ wash-OO-gull ]].  Police say Reister's car was parked about 100 yards away, and it's believed he walked into the path of a train.  Reister was fired after a shooting in 2011, in which he wounded a suspect by firing a lethal round that was "inadvertently" loaded into a less-lethal beanbag gun.
