(Salem, OR)  --  A bill that would require that employees in Oregon be provided with paid sick leave is awaiting action in committee.  The "Portland Tribune" reports a joint budget subcommittee held a hearing on the latest version of the measure yesterday.  The panel is waiting to receive cost estimates from school districts, community colleges, and state universities before taking a vote on the measure.
