(Portland, OR)  --  A man is facing criminal charges after being accused of beating a Chihuahua.  Portland police say John Isaac Pettay is charged with aggravated animal abuse after he was accused of repeatedly punching the dog, which belongs to Pettay's ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.  The dog was taken to a vet for treatment, but was later released.
