Concealed-Carry Reciprocity Bill To Be Considered

(Salem, OR)  --  The state Senate is to consider a bill that would allow people with concealed carry permits outside of Oregon to legally have the same right in Oregon as long as their state meets or exceeds Oregon's guidelines.  KOIN-TV reports the House-passed bill is likely to go to the Senate floor for a vote this week.  Supporters say if Oregon allows other states' drivers licenses to be valid, gun permits should be, as well.  Opponents say the language of the bill may not be stringent enough.
