(Portland, OR)  --  One pedestrian is dead and a second is seriously injured, following a crash on the Burnside Bridge.  Police say a vehicle drove up on the south sidewalk and hit a man and a woman who were walking around two p.m. yesterday.  The man later died at a hospital, but the woman's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.  The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
