Portland Hospital Placed On Lockdown

(Portland, OR)  --  Portland police say a bomb threat prompted last night's lockdown of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.  The lockdown went into effect shortly after eleven o'clock, following a report of a mentally-ill man making threats about having a bomb.  "The Oregonian" reports the number of police units on the scene had dwindled by around midnight.  Portland Police Bureau Sergeant Greg Stewart said there appeared to be no bomb, but officers were working to ensure that everyone was safe.
