(Portland, OR)  --  Authorities say a man was shot and killed by police officers outside the WinCo Foods in Northeast Portland.  The shooting happened late Sunday night, when Allen Bellew was wounded after reportedly pointing a pistol at the officers.  Medics who arrived at the scene minutes later pronounced Bellew dead.  Police say the gun Bellew pointed at the officers turned out to be a starter pistol.
