(Eugene, OR)  --  Civic Stadium in Eugene is considered a total loss, after a fire ripped through the historic structure.  The stadium was built in 1938 as a WPA project during the great depression, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.  About 38 fire units were involved in battling the two-alarm blaze yesterday evening.  No injuries were reported, and investigators are trying to determine how the fire started.
