(Portland, OR)  --  We're still a couple of days away before cooler temperatures are finally here.  The so-called Rex blocking high-pressure system continues to keep temperatures exceedingly high, but relief is now expected on Thursday.  Portland temperatures have cracked the 90-degree mark in ten of the last eleven days.
